On Saturday 21st July a Homer day will be held in London organised by the Hellenic Centre.
The event will see the reading or singing of The Iliad by volunteers in support of an Olympic truce and global peace.
The mammoth task will take 10 hours to complete, from 10am until 8pm, and will include music from the musical ensemble Daemonia Nymphe and a visual display.
